Forced Entry

      This issue starts off with Kyle taking Alex flying in the sky. Kyle drops off Alex and they go inside. She gives him a kiss and she says that he is more responsible. Kyle starts to leave, when she brings him in. Then, Alex and Kyle get back together.
      Major Force is looking through photos taken of Alexandra DeWitt and Green Lantern. His mission is to use Alex to get Green Lantern and his ring. Major Force is given a box with the glowing rock, and asked if he got it all. Major Force then lost his temper and grabbed the agent who explained his agenda to him, and says he will kill Green Lantern if that's the one they want. The agent tells him that they will arrive in Los Angeles in a few hours.
       Back at Alex's apartment, Kyle is watching TV and Alex is in the shower. Alex gets out of the shower, and is staring at something on the TV. She tells him that he should go check it out, and there will be a surprise waiting when he gets back. 
      Reluctantly, Kyle flies off as Green Lantern, hoping to get back soon. As he flies to the scene, he finds that a block of Los Angeles has been replaced by a futuristic city with hovering cars and odd buildings. 
      Alex is playing around with her camera, when there is a knock on the door.
      Kyle talks to one of the future citizens, she says that she is already in L.A. when Kyle says that she came to his L.A.
      Alex opens the door, and receives flowers. The well-built delivery man hands her the flowers. Thinking they are from Kyle, she reads the note that simply says "I'm going to kill you."
       By talking to the woman, Kyle finds out the year is 2088. There is a rumble, the woman says there was a predicted earthquake. 
      Alex runs away from the delivery man who's face is revealed as Major Force. She heads to the kitchen and pulls a knife out. She tries to cut him, but he is not damaged. 
      The rumbling continues and a building starts falling apart. Kyle creates a shield to protect the woman and him. More buildings start falling apart and crashing down towards ground. 
      Major Force hits Alex across the cheek as he asks for information on the ringbearer he was sent to find. 
      Green Lantern pulls a man out of the way of rocks and gets an idea on how to save this future city. He creates a brace to hold the rocks together and stop them from zooming down. The quake stops and everyone is okay. 
      Major Force wraps his huge hands around Alex's throat. She struggles for a second, but then falls limp in his arms. 
      The woman he first met throws herself into his arms and thanks him. When Kyle asks about the whole thing, everything starts to fade. Convinced that everything is back to normal, Kyle heads back to Alex. When he gets there, he finds a note resting on the table. In odd handwriting, it says "Surprise for you in the fridge. Love, A." He then opens the refrigerator and finds Alex's limp form inside. Surprised and angry, he is interrupted by someone grieving about her. It is Major Force, still in his delivery threads. He asks for the ring. Outside Alex's apartment it is quiet and serene, until Major Force comes hurling out of the door with a loud boom. Kyle flies with incredible speed with a fist aimed at the yellow stomach. Kyle and Alex's killer exchange punches, and Kyle sends a burning emerald beam through Major's stomach. Supposedly invulnerable, the large figure bleeds.
      Kyle is down on the ground, and Major Force tries to take off his ring. But Kyle's refusal is with an outburst of rage through his ring. Then a punch to his stomach, and a hammer to the back of his head. Supposedly in the lead, Green Lantern is ready to strike again with the emerald hammer, when it starts to fade. His ring is running out of energy, and Kyle looks like he is in a bad situation.
